This Privacy Policy describes how Grave Robber Games ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Meet Me At The Bar mobile application and website ("Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

When you create an account or use the Service, we may collect:

Email Address
Age (self-declared)
Gender and Hangout Preference Genders
Profile Photo
Face-related photo validation data derived from your uploaded profile photo, such as whether a face is present, whether multiple faces are present, whether key facial features are visible, whether the face is large enough in the image, and whether the image quality is sufficient for profile use
Location data (for venue check-ins)
Check-in history
Chat messages between users
Blocked user lists
Push notification device tokens
Technical device information (IP, device model, OS)

3. How We Use Your Information

Create and manage your account
Enable venue check-ins
Allow users to discover others at venues
Enable messaging between users
Send push notifications
Improve the Service
Monitor usage and prevent abuse
Comply with legal obligations
Validate uploaded profile photos to confirm that they contain one clearly visible face and are suitable for use as a profile photo

4. Legal Basis for Processing

5. Data Storage and Retention

Data is stored on secure servers and infrastructure used to operate the Service.
Profile information, messages and check-ins may be stored until the account is deleted.
Profile photos may be stored until the user replaces them with a new photo or deletes their account.
When a user uploads a new profile photo, the previous profile photo is replaced on our server by the newly uploaded one.
When a user deletes their account, their stored profile photos and associated account data are deleted in accordance with our deletion process.
Face-related photo validation results are used during the upload and validation process to determine whether a submitted profile photo is acceptable. We do not use this process to identify users, compare users against one another, or create biometric templates or faceprints.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data only as necessary to operate the Service, including with service providers that help us store profile photos, process push notifications, provide analytics, or validate uploaded profile photos.

7. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics — analytics and performance monitoring
Expo — push notification delivery
Apple App Store / Google Play — subscription billing processing
Amazon Web Services (AWS), including Amazon S3 — secure storage of uploaded profile photos and derived image versions
Amazon Rekognition — automated analysis of uploaded profile photos to confirm that a photo contains one clearly visible face and is suitable for use as a profile photo

Payments for Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store or access your payment card information.

When you upload a profile photo, that photo may be processed by Amazon Rekognition solely for profile photo validation purposes. This analysis may check whether a face is present, whether multiple faces are present, whether the face is sufficiently visible, whether key facial landmarks are visible, whether the angle is acceptable, and whether the image quality is sufficient. We do not use this process for face recognition, identity verification against other users, advertising, profiling, or the creation or storage of biometric templates, biometric identifiers, or faceprints.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics and performance improvements.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures including encrypted connections, secure servers and access controls.
