Meet Me At The Bar - Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Meet Me At The Bar mobile application and website ("Service"), operated by Grave Robber Games ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Meet Me At The Bar. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Registration & Verification

Account Creation: Certain features require account registration. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information.
Email Verification: Your email address will be verified to activate your account.
Age Verification: You must truthfully declare your age when signing up. We reserve the right to request additional verification if necessary.
Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Use of the Service

Intended Use: Meet Me At The Bar is designed to help users discover and connect with others at physical venues in real time for socializing and hanging out. It is not intended for professional matchmaking, escort services, or any unlawful purpose.
Real-World Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your conduct when meeting others through the app. Grave Robber Games does not conduct background checks or verify identities beyond email and age declaration.
Venue Listings: Bars listed in the app are added by our team or submitted by bars directly. Bars do not manage their listings or user data directly.

5. User Content & Conduct

Profile Photos: You may upload a selfie as your profile picture. Inappropriate, offensive, or false images are prohibited.
Chats: You may communicate with other users via private messages. Harassment, abuse, offensive language, or any unlawful conduct is strictly forbidden.
Blocking: You may block other users if you feel uncomfortable. Blocked users cannot contact or view you.
Account Deletion: You may request full account deletion at any time. Your check-in history may also be deleted upon request.

6. Location Data & Check-Ins

Location Use: The app collects and processes your device's location to enable check-ins at venues and show who is present at a bar.
Visibility: Your presence is visible to other users checked into the same venue, but we do not share your precise location or distance outside of check-ins.
Check-In History: Your check-in records are stored for the purpose of app functionality and may be deleted by you.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

Violate any laws or regulations.
Harass, stalk, or harm other users.
Use fake identities or provide false information.
Post or transmit obscene, offensive, or defamatory content.
Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the app's security or functionality.

8. Bars & Venue Participation

Bars may submit requests to be listed in the app via forms or by contacting us directly.
Being listed does not imply endorsement or partnership unless specifically stated.
Bars currently do not manage profiles or accounts on the app.

9. Payments

The Service is currently free for both users and bars. We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future with proper notice.

10. Privacy

We collect personal data necessary to operate the Service, including email, profile photo, check-in history, location data, and chat history. All data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Grave Robber Games does not verify the identity, intentions, or conduct of users. You use the Service and meet others at your own risk.
We are not liable for any damages, personal injury, or incidents resulting from meetings arranged through the Service.
We do not control the conduct of bars or the individuals who use our Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grave Robber Games, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms or for any conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Latvia.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
